About Judges

  • Ms. Malvika Rajkotia

    Adv. Malavika Rajkotia is one of India’s most successful family lawyers practicing in The High Court of Delhi and the Supreme Court and has handled several high profile cases. She has been practicing law for more than three decades and is the founder of Rajkotia Associates, a leading law firm based in New Delhi. She has authored a book Intimacy Undone: Marriage, Divorce and Family Law in India, published by Speaking Tiger in 2017. The book had garnered rave reviews and made a major impact in the scholarship on family law in India. The book was long-listed under the non-fiction category for the 'Tata Nexon Literature Live! First Book Award'. Adv. Rajkotia is much sought after for primetime television debates on burning issues such as marital rape law, section 377, triple talaq and more. She is also a gender rights advocate and has been working on gender justice issues for decades now.

  • Mr. Sushant Chandra

    Mr. Sushant is on the faculty of Jindal Global Law School, O.P. Jindal Global University, India. Sushant graduated from Gujarat National Law University in 2011 with 7 Gold Medals and Best Outstanding Student Award after which he pursued the B.C.L. at the University of Oxford. He was recently awarded the Teaching Excellence Award and Special Award for Continuous Excellence in Teaching at the Jindal Global Law School. He takes keen interest in public law and legal philosophy. He has published widely in various academic and non-academic journals. He assists in directing the Center on Clinical Programme at the Jindal Global Law School. He is also a full time member of the Global Alliance for Justice Education and takes keen interest in their work

  • Mr. Rishabh Sancheti

    Mr. Rishabh was chosen as Erasmus Mundas Scholar receiving full scholarship from the European Union for European Masters in Law and Economics. As an advocate he has argued in several crucial matters, including Satyam scam, Harshad Mehta scam and the IIM Admission policy to name a few. He has been invited to participate in almost all prestigious moot court competitions of the world, including Jessup, Stetson, Willem C Vis, ELSA-WTO, NLS Arbitration, NLUD-Competition, NLUJ-Anti Trust, Mediation Arbitration Competitions etc.

  • Mr. Vaibhav Sharma

    Mr. Vaibhav is a recipient of the ‘Experientia Patronus Hornus Award’ for being the Trial Advocate of the Year at the Surana & Surana National Trial Advocacy held in September 2008, Hardy C. Dillard Award from the Jessup International Moot Court Competition, and represented his alma mater at Jessup's International Moot Court, Stetson International Environmental Law Moot Court Competitions.

  • Mr. Shailesh Madiyal

    Mr. Shailesh Madiyal is an advocate on record of the Supreme Court of India. He was declared the ‘Best Speaker’ at the International Refugee Law Moot Court competition organized by the United Nations High Commission on Refugees at Chennai. He was part of the team that won the National Rounds of the Commonwealth International Law Moot Court Competition where he was once again declared the ‘Best Speaker’. He then represented India at the Commonwealth International Law Moot Court Competition held at Malaysia, and at the Philip C. Brown International Client Counselling Competition held at Ireland, United Kingdom.
